All Great Countries CRASH !

After reading a very insightful post on a young lawyers BLOG, I am reminded that throughout history that great countries grow, prosper BUT.. eventually CRASH ! I am no expert in history, but I do believe that history does repeat itself.

If Barack Obama is not nominated as the Democratic Presidential candidate.. and he does not win the national election because he is black.. or someone does something stoopid to hurt him.. then I agree with the Blogger I just read.. it is the beginning of the end. This Country is a great country BUT we have become so full of ourselves that we forget others and how others can help.

The United States has prospered so well that people from all over the world want to live here. We have everything, including high infant mortality rates; uninsured children; hungry children; poor people. The same conditions that Rome had .. and the difference between the HAVES and the HAVE NOTS is increasing. People making $10M to hit a baseball when children go to bed hungry ! CEO's making $200M per year, with four houses, 5 cars, and some people are working two jobs JUST to feed their families.

The revolution is coming.. as I have said for years.. and the 2008 Presidential Election may be the match the lights to explosives.
