Another Year Older !

Well.. another birthday has come and gone. They sneak up on you when you are not looking. You can't stop them. They just keep coming.. and coming.. and coming. BUT. as they say the birthday is better than the alternative.

I had a great birthday lunch - barbeque and beer - with my wife. I got an early birthday visit from one daughter.. and a calls from the other daughter. My son sent me a nice birthday EMail.

This birthday seemed to be a little tougher to handle than any of the ones before. Even 30. or 40.. or 50. Maybe because this birthday is the birthday hump over to the big 60. Yep.. now matter how hard you try to slice it.. spin it... color it.. paint it.. white wash it.. 60 is the start of old. I see a lot of guys on the street and I can say with lots of confidence.. "Geez he must be at least 60 !"

Oh well.. I am year older.. and guess what.. SO ARE YOU !!!
