Easter.. HA !

Now that this Easter stuff is over.... I can say what I really think..

Why are there so many people trying to push their organized religion tenets down the throats of others that are NOT in their particular organized religion ? I wonder how many people have been killed throughout the ages .. just since 1 AD ... for a religious cause. Not GOD's cause.. but some religious organization's cause. Oh well.

I enjoyed another birthday.. that is 53 of them now.. and it happened to be within the Easter weekend. And for many days leading up to Easter Sunday.. people would say "Have a nice Easter " and I would say "you too " just trying to be polite...
BUT .... What if I was not a Christian and this particular observance meant nothing to me ? Did they just assume that I am christian because I look like a typical European Caucasian male.... so I must be christian.

Well.. it probably does not matter anyway.. because all those people who said "Have a nice Easter" were probably just saying it to be nice and could care less if I had a nice Easter. And besides.. Easter is NOT really a religious observance but another Hallmark created day. Candy, colored eggs, family dinner !
