Bah Humbug!

AH.. the holidays... time to be merry and try not to get sucked into all the BUY ME commercials on the television. Every year my children ask "What do you want for Christmas?".. and every year I say "Your wonderful smile !" .. but they are never happy with that answer. They want me to prepare a list of all the items they can buy for me !!

I am a 50+ adult male that basically has just about everything he needs.
I have more clothes than I can wear;
I have almost all the music I can listen to (unless something really great comes out); and
I can watch all the movies I want on Pay-per-View.. so DVD's are bought only as collector items.
I have a car.. a bike.. my health...

SO. what do I tell everyone who wants to know what I want for Christmas...
You know what I want.... you asked for it... I want..

- a country full of people that thinks of others BEFORE themselves
- a government that wants to help the people, not feed the big bidness and big contributors
- congresspeople and senators who dont think with their egos but with their hearts
- beautiful weather all the time.. including some snowy days; some fall days; etc.

and most of all.... I want...

my family to be happy.. just that.. HAPPY !!
