A Unique Conversation

For those of you UNLUCKY not to live in Michigan .... today is one of those very beautiful early fall days.. extremely bright and sunny, cool ( 68 deg) and breezy. It gave us a chance to go to the Belle Isle in the middle of the river.. have lunch .. and enjoy being alive.

It also gave me a chance to talk to the one being on this planet that can make a difference... me ! You ever have that conversation. The one where you ask all the questions.. and you get to answer them also ! It sometimes takes you on a dialogue train that after a few minutes you wonder "How in the world did I get on this topic?"

Well, I did not have too many answers for me. I did get a chance to ask me what in the world is going on and why can't people get back to simpler things, and work together towards a better planet. I did not have an answer for me. I also asked me about what was I supposed to do with the rest of my life. I again did not have an answer.

After about 30 minutes of this Q&A with me, I decided that I could not provide me the details that an engineer expects when trying to solve a major problem. Damn, Type A behavior getting in the way.

BUT.. I did get one answer from me. I was told that it was a beautiful day, enjoy it; tell everyone that I can that I love them, and that we will be able to have this conversation again.
