Can I stand it ?

As you all know.. of course you do.. the Detroit Tigers are in the 2006 World Series. I was around for the 1968 World Series (High School) and the 1984 World Series (living in the DC area), but this one seems different. Maybe it is because I have children to share the experience with.. then again .. maybe not ! All I know is that it feels different.

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you were afraid to touch it in case in exploded ? It was the same when Michigan State won the NCAA finals a few years ago. I wanted it so bad.. but I did not want to do ANYTHING to jinx it. Not even watch it on TV !

I will be nervous wreck until the Tigers win the World Series. Then I will be happy and proud and will brag for at least a week.. no.. probably a month.
