Yardwork !

OK.. who is the dumb ass that started all this prettier than thou stuff when it comes to residential yards! We mow the grass.. we water the grass to make it grow.. so we can MOW IT AGAIN !!

It does not make any sense.. let alone that I can NOT abide by the fact that people use potable drinking water to irrigate their lawns, flower beds, budding trees.. God did not use potable drinking water to grow all his flora on this planet! He let it rain !

I will admit that once the lawn is edged and mowed .. it does look sharp. BUT.. I don't spend time worrying whether it looks better than my neighbors lawn. Even though, his grass does seem to be a little greener than mine.. hhmm !! I know he uses fertilizer. Dont get me started on fertilizer.. man what a waste and the impact on the environment.. WOW !!

My words of wisdom this week.. Buy a house with a small yard.. OR. better yet.. develop a yard that requires little water. Let nature be your sprinkler !
