Get along lil' doggie

The family.. minus a few, and you know who you are.. were in Tennessee over the Labor Day weekend. The point of the get together was to celebrate another Bristol sibling crossing over into adulthood.. turning 50 !! YEAH !!!!

So.. we rented a cabin in the mountains near a horse ranch so that everyone, and I mean everyone, could go horse back riding. I tried it. I did it.. ONCE !! Then it was on to mountain bikes where you can go faster.. and be in more control. Nothing against horses... BUT.. they do tend to just poke along the trails that they walk.. day in.. day out.

It was fun. Two new people (male friends of the two daughters) got a first hand chance to spend two lovely days with the Bristol's. HA !! They may never come back ... if we were not eating.. we were drinking. If we were not drinking .. we were playing Euchre.

Fun was had by all.. and now it is one to planning the next get together... Thanksgiving.. then Christmas.. then ????
