HAPPY NEW YEAR !

The new year is here.. the year 2004 !
What can we say.. what is different today from just 10 days ago, which was in another YEAR !
NOTHING.. we still have a crazy screwed up city, state, country and world.

The fellowship of the NINE are all trying to piss on each other's shoes.. hoping they can get nominated to run against SHRUB. HA !! Who can win against 200 million in campaign funds. We all know that "he who has the most toys (read: money) .. wins!" Why bother fighting it.. people don't care anymore... they just want to work.. make money.. live life easy.. and to hell with anyone else.

So will 2004 be any different.. I think not. It will probably get much worse and my ranting will get much worse.. and my belief in my fellow man.. will cease to exist. Someday we need to realize:

non-renewable fossil fuels will eventually be gone, so start to use solar, geothermal, other fuels. and WALK!
there are a lot more "have nots" than there are "haves". Watch out when the "have nots" get pissed off
there is only one planet that we can ALL live on. Start taking care of your yard.. your city.. your state..
business is important to any society.. but it should not run that society. It has since the first business.
slow down... talk to a stranger.. grow some food.. paint a picture.. smile at an elderly person

I think the easiest thing may be to buy some land somewhere.. build a small log house.. grow my own food.. and tell the world to call me when it grows up.
