Well... that Great White Bastard (GWB) did one hell of a job last nite on television.
Could you see the smirks on his face.. time after time ! "All I want is 87 billion dollars"

Do you know what we .. the United States.. could do with $87 billion ?
We could clean up some of the environment..
fix our sewers and water distribution facilities..
we could mend our roads.. and really attempt some research at energy independence.

BUT.. NO !! That GWB has asked for us to "tighten our belts" .. "for a rough road ahead"..
so he can presume to stop terrorism on "their front"..
and make Iraqi oil available to his buddies in the "erl bidness".

Did ANYONE ever think that we could stop terrorism with humanitarian approaches...
like they say.. "You get more with sugar, than you do with vinegar!"
Then maybe people around the world would not hate Americans so much.. and stop blowing up our buildings !
You will never stop the truly fanatical.. but you can affect change in a society with
good deeds that make people thank the Lord... Allah.. that Americans are there to help !

Provide people and tools and some money for schools, hospitals, food production...
THEN.. if the people receiving the help for a self-sustaining existence can't handle it.. then we move on..

We .. the USA.. can not force people to drink from the well !
SO.. if we help out.. and the local people don't pickup the ball and run with it..
manage themselves.. police their brethren.. then we move on..
MAYBE.. even focus on our own damn country !!
