What Country Did I Wake Up In ?

Where do I begin ?

This election was probably the most fundamental fuck up that I have ever witnessed in my 53 years. I worked hard in 1972 for Senator McGovern only to see the system overpower the kids with bright eyes and great hopes. The white male political machine rolled over us big time. Then I did not vote ..nor cared who was president for 20 years. I started to care again with Clinton, hoping other people from my age group would love to follow a true inspiring, charismatic leader.

What I have realized is that all the people that I knew back in 1972 have left the planet and in their place are a bunch of tight assed, sphincter tightening racist bigots who think with their pocket books and believe in the philosophy that I got mine, so screw everyone else who needs help.

The ONLY bright light that I have in my life right are my three children who after this election have made me so PROUD ! All three of them are upset and ashamed of their fellow Americans and they are all under 30 years of age. Their mother (I helped some!) raised them to think.. think... and then make a decision or an opinion. They are truly wonderful people.

SO.. what happened to all the other people my age and the kids they raised. WHERE ARE THEY ? Where are the other adults my age (and older) who raised their children to THINK and make their own decisions. NOT to follow blindly the bullshit propaganda being pumped out of the White House. THINK.. LISTEN.. and make up your own minds.

We have four years to gather together and become a royal pain in the ass for the White House and all the Richard Craniums who work there. I am NOT leaving, I got too much invested in this country. So now is the time for me, anyways, to speak up and become a real pain.

as long as my kids will bail me out of jail, if necessary.
